My best pricing advice isn't actually pricing advice

Today’s post is really simple.

It’s my best advice and one of the things I’ll be talking about when I present on pricing at WordCamp Miami.

Here’s the thing. It’s not about pricing really. But it’s incredibly useful for pricing.

My friend Ben runs around doing this all the time.

Ready?

The best thing you can do to gain and maintain premium pricing is this:

Network like a madman.

Why is this so powerful?

Because if you’re constantly building a network of people who know you and know what you can do, they’ll prep your next client.

They’ll provide the referrals. But more than that, they’ll make the case for why someone should hire you.

And that means they will have articulated your value – which helps you with gaining and keeping premium pricing.

And it makes your cost of sale go down, which helps your profit margin.

So network like mad.
